I was observing others and also trying to observe myself. It all seemed as though I was watching machines that walked and talked, observed through the screen of yet another machine. It become apparent to me that we all choose to display a “mask” to others and even to ourselves. You ask them who they are and they would usually tell you their names and then say: “I’m a teacher”, “I’m a lawyer”, “I’m a dentist”… Are you really?
We commonly use the terms “I see, I smell, I talk, I walk” etc, however what is the “I” that walks and talks? What is the “I” that works as a teacher, lawyer, doctor etc? You ask me, and I would tell you – I don’t know! Which is hilarious because it means my own “I” is unconscious, unaware of itself, as it is probably the case with yours, hers or his. We are not our names or our jobs, we are not what we have or don’t have. We are not even our family or our children in which case we do share genes but not the “I”. Who are we then?!
Some would say “I” is a soul, some would say it’s the energy, but I’m guessing only few really know… And I’m not preaching here any religious or other belief. I simply want to know and to understand. I want to become one with my “I” and to consciously put it into action.
I reject to believe we happened to exist by some accident for everything has a purpose. And we will never find our purpose unless we meet with our “I”. Or so I think…
Of course these questions are nothing new among us, “conscious” beings, but we can not just sit and wait for some higher force or science to open our minds. We have to find our own
I am comfortable with almost every style and medium so you can expect to see something completely different from what you’ve seen so far. My style may differ, yet my goal to discover the “I” remains.
